Searching the world over for antiques can be a great journey that anyone who likes mysteries will be happy to begin. Many different places can lead one to find great historical decorative arts that can be displayed in one’s home or given a gifts. A person would think first of looking for antiques in a local flea market more than likely. However, in order to know a little about what is a great antique one should first consult the library. This is a one stop shopping mecca for those who collect almost anything. Ebay is relatively low priced, but one has to be careful if they find an item that they absolutely love. Because it is an auction site, they may want to set their initial bid high. The good thing about Ebay is that usually one can find at least two of every item, and this allows for a second chance shopping experience.

Antiques can offer a person a link to the past that they may be missing in their life. By taking the time to understand how these decorative arts have become a huge hobby for most, one can select the best piece for their own collection. No longer though is one limited to just buying a piece by chance. Because so much information is now available, an individual can become an antique expert before they even step foot inside the shops of their local antique dealers.

I have been playing the guitar for a number of years now and I have found learning to play the guitar has been one of the best things that I have ever done.

Being brought up in a culture where men where not encouraged to show or express their feelings was challenging, and as I grew older I found that I needed a way to channel my feelings. So at the age of 16 I decided that I would learn how to play the guitar.

When I first started my finger would ache and I would keep breaking strings from strumming too hard, but none the less I eventually mastered my 1st Nirvana song.

Next I started to write my own songs, by piecing together some basic chords and throwing down some lyrics.

The best part about learning the guitar for me was thart I was able to express what I felt by translating this through my guitar. And in a world that tells you that all men must look like John Wayne and be as cool as Brad Pitt, it can be tough if you don’t measure up to either of these falsehoods. However I found the true me when I would get lost in my guitar.

I first started taking guitar lessons in New York and when moved to Australia I mucked around for a while and eventually started taking guitar lessons in Sydney where I live today.

The biggest challenge I faced with becoming a confident guitar player was that I struggled to be consistent with my lessons. Moving around a lot as a child and teenages with my family played a role in this. However then I discovered that you can actually learn how to play the guitar online and this was a whole new learning experience for me. The great thing about learning the guitar online is that you can take lessons when and where you like and the best part is that you only pay once!
